Brooke Shields once broke into President George Hw Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush in her room after she believed her home was flooding.
On Thursday, Shields was co-elanfitrion of “Today With Jenna and Friends” with the couple’s granddaughter, Jenna Bush Hager, and explained the deadly moment in the house of the elderly couple in Kennebunkport, Maine.
About 15 years ago, the bushes invited the shields to come to stay at home after they initially formed a “sweet” friendship in the 80s.

“I was making a movie in Boston, and I receive a phone call, it does not say who it is, it literally says: ‘Excuse me, lady, I heard you are in the area. If you don’t come to Kennebunkport, you’re in trouble, young,’ and, of course, that was Pope Bush, so I brought my children and I stayed there,” said the model and the actress.
Then, Shields packed his daughters, Rowan and Grier, and went to Walker’s Point complex.
The trip was gently until Shields noticed that the living room was “flooded” from the ocean water after accustoming his daughters.

“I am panic, right? And I am thinking: ‘My God, I have to tell someone, but nobody is in the house!'” He said.
“I thought, ‘This is a moment of my life that was so special.”
The star of the “Blue Lagoon” He knew he had to go to the bushes to alert them before the damage occurred.
“Then, I go to the room below and, as, with the fear of God (in me),” Shields explained.

“They had their little television dinners, their little Barcaloungers, their little la-z boys, and were watching (‘law and order’) ‘Svu'”.
Shields joked saying that once he entered the room, he protected his eyes because Barbara was “with his robe.”
“And I say: ‘I just want to tell you that I think the house could have flooded, but I think I understood it,” he told Hager of the moment, still covering his eyes as he remembered what happened.

Barbara was not alarmed and insisted that the shields sat between their chairs and finished the television episode with them.
“She says: ‘George, maybe Brooke can answer this question … Ask him, ask him.’ He says:” Well, who do you think he did? “Shields said.

“I thought, ‘This is a moment of my life that was so special,” Shields recalled.
Hager thanked Shields for the story about his grandparents. The bushes died a few months apart in 2018.
“I never had a grandfather, and since I was quite young, he (George) gave me boys advice and said: ‘Ok, I like that. I don’t like this one’, so it was a very sweet relationship that I needed to have and I hadn’t had anyone else,” said Shields.
