Dolly Parton says that husband Carl Dean “suffered a lot” before death

In an interview with Knox News Posted on Monday, March 17 – Just two weeks after Dean’s death – Parton, 79, revealed that her husband “suffered a lot” than he died.

“I’m doing it better than I thought I would do it. I was with him for 60 years. So I will have to give some of the things we did again. But I will always keep it close,” said singer “Jolene”.

“I am in peace that he is calm, but that does not prevent me from missing and love him,” Parton added.

Parton met Dean before Nashville Laundromat in 1964. Two years later they married.

“He came to the park; he bought his own ticket – he stood in the queue and got a ticket. He didn’t want someone to give him a ticket because it was a husband Dolly. Everyone thinks it is the funniest thing,” Parton said.

“I just want you all know how much I appreciate you for everything that has happened to us over the past few years,” the singer continued. “I just want to thank you all for all flowers and cards and good wishes for losing Carl. “I have to laugh. I need some fun, so I will probably be stupid. I cried enough last week or two,” she said.
