The HGTV star admits ‘creative’ jealousy when women send messages to their husband


HGTV is starring Ben and Erin Napier I have been married for 16 years and, from time to time, Erin experiences some jealousy.

The couple spoke with Us WeeklyAnd Erin explained that he did not like someone “looks too much to a supermodel” he was sending messages to Ben about working with them.

Erin said he trusts Ben “110%”, but sometimes he lets her imagination go crazy, as when she found her husband taking a shower in the middle of the afternoon.

Ben had shed something “everywhere”, as it turned out, and although he was not “accusatory,” he recalled, “I just wanted (he) knew how creative my mind is.”

He added that she was aware of herself at the same time, saying: “Before she called, she said: ‘This is nonsense. Why am I thinking about this?'”

The 41 -year -old said that everything “goes hand in hand with communication. How do you break confidence (it is when someone feels obliged to say), ‘Why didn’t you tell me about this?'”

“We are together all the time. I listen to everything he listens. I’m standing with him when he listens to him,” Erin said.

“Some people say: ‘Oh, I could never work with my spouse.’ But it may never have tried,” Ben said. “If you go to your parents’ house, and you are only there for a couple of days, they tend to start getting nervous.

At home, they exchange gestures, such as the daily love notes that Ben leaves his wife.

“They say nothing deep,” Erin said. “(Simply) things like, ‘I am very grateful that we are you and me, and that this is what our life is’ or ‘thanks for being mine, and I will always do my best for you every day'”.

His daughters, Helen and MaeThey have collected the gesture. Ben says that Helen now leaves notes all the time.

“The girls will ruin,” Erin joked. “They will never find a husband who tries them as well as he. Good luck for them.”
