The Republican legislator speaks after activists interrupt private lunch

EXCLUSIVE: An interruption on the cost reduction efforts of the Trump administration became physical after the protesters crashed an event in a red district in New York, which led a republican legislator to raise concerns about democratic efforts to “organize protests” Republican districts.

The protesters interrupted a private lunch organized by the Rockland Business Association on Thursday, aimed at one of the speakers, the representative Mike Lawler, RN.Y., on the Republican efforts to reduce federal expenditure.

A video obtained by Fox News Digital shows the protesters, who had bought tickets for the event, shouting, “Lawless Lawler” while holding a sign that said: “Elon’s Puppet” in an apparent reference to cost -cut efforts by the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE). The interruption quickly became physics when the protesters fought with those attending the event, who tried to end the interruption.

The Lawler’s team, who responded to the protest, said the comments of Senator Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., where he said that the Democrats were sending people to the Republican districts to oppose their policies and make “face the consequences.”

“We are mobilizing in New York. We have people who go to the Republican districts and chase these Republicans who vote for this and force them to change their vote or face the consequences,” Schumer said during a recent interview with PBS. “This is a long and implacable fight that we fight every day. And I’m sure we will bring Trump’s popularity, numbers and strength if we follow him, and we continue and we will continue in that.”

Ciro Riccardi, Lawler Communications Director, told Fox News Digital: “It is scandalous that the leader of the majority of the Senate, Chuck Schumer, is inciting extreme left activists to harass and intimidate the republican members of Congress.”

“Yesterday, he appeared in PBS and declared:” We are mobilizing in New York. We have people who go to the Republican districts, chasing the Republicans who vote for this and forcing them to change their vote or face consequences. “That earlier day, a bipartisan lunch of the Rockland Business Association was violently interrupted by the protesters, including the well -known provocative Walter Masterson de Brooklyn,” Riccardi said in a statement.

“They assaulted multiple older people in the reading process of the comments written about their phones. Are these the types of ‘consequences’ that Schumer is supporting?” Riccardi told Fox.

Lawler, in a response from Schumer’s interview in X, said that “in other words, @senschumer admits that he is coordinating with activists and extreme left groups as indivisible to organize protests and people in the light of gases.”

The protest is one of several interruptions in Congress events this week.
