At least two people died and hundreds evacuated their homes when forest fires were enraged in South Korea on Saturday.
Two firefighters were found dead in Sancheong County in the southeast of the country, Yonhap news agency reported, citing local officials.

A state of national disaster was declared at 18:00 local time (09:00 GMT), which covers the provinces of Ulsan City and North and South Gyeongsang in the southeast.
More than 200 residents were ordered to leave their homes in eight villages due to the mortal fire in the Sancheong County in the Southern Province of Gyeongsang.
The interim president, Choi Sang-Mok, had urged all efforts to extinguish the fire due to sunset, but the strong winds hindered the efforts in the scene of around 250 kilometers (155 miles) to the southeast Seoul.
In other places, more than 400 residents were displaced due to a forest fire in Uiseong County in the province of Northern Gyeongsang.
The forest service issued a serious warning of forest fires in 12 locations, including Busan and the central city of Daejeon.
