The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has revoked security authorizations of his previously defeated Democratic electoral rivals, Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton, as well as other senior former officials.
The movement comes later Trump said in February He was revoking security authorization for his predecessor Joe Biden. He confirmed that movement in the last announcement, adding that he was also revoking the security authorization of “any other member” of the Biden family.
“I have determined that it is no longer of national interest that the following people access the classified information,” said Trump’s memorandum.

Former Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former Republican legislators Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger were also on the list of those who lost their security authorizations, as well as Fiona Hill, a former Russian affairs advisor at the first Trump administration.
The other names were: Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann and Alexander Vindman.
Previously, Trump had taken security authorizations of more than four dozen former intelligence officials who he accused of meddling in the 2020 elections in favor of Biden without providing evidence.
In 2021, Biden, serving the president at that time, prevented him from his defeated rival Trump to have access to intelligence information sessions citing his “erratic behavior.”
