Venezuela will resume accepting deportation flights from the United States after Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro suspended flights earlier this month.
Jorge Rodríguez, the president of Venezuela Assembly And the United States Chief Negotiator announced policy change on Saturday.
“We have agreed with the United States government to resume the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants with an initial flight tomorrow, Domingo,” Rodríguez said.
He added that the agreement with the United States said the “return of our compatriots to his nation with the safeguarding of his human rights.”

Rodríguez made reference to the deportation of some Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador in his statement. The administration of President Donald Trump has sent some Venezuelan members of the Trena de Aragua gang to the country.
“Migrating is not a crime and we will not rest until we achieve the return of all who require it and until we rescue our brothers kidnapped in El Salvador,” Rodriguez said in a statement.
