“Wisconsin’s future is at stake here,” said Favre. “This is as important as the November elections, and that was for the soul of America. This is for Wisconsin’s soul.
“His vote for Brad Schimel will keep Wisconsin and America winning. And you know that I know a little about winning. When people like you vote, America and Wisconsin win.”
Favre supported Donald Trump for president during the campaign cycle of 2024. He also spoke in a demonstration for Trump when the Republican celebrated a statement in the state.
Schimel is a former Wisconsin attorney general and currently serves as a judge in Waukesha County. Republicans have warned that Schimel’s opponent, Susan Crawford, from Dane County, a liberal considered the preferred candidate of Democrats, could support efforts to “extract” two Republicans from the US House of Representatives.
