The Fundora team will decide between the high profile fighting and the mandatory Zayas struggle

The promoter of WBC and the Junior medium-weight champion of the WBO Sebastian Fundora, Samsson Lewkowicz, says that he will meet with the team this week to decide in which direction ‘The imposing hell’ will go for his next fight after his fourth round of Tko’s victory over Chordale Booker (23-2, 11 ko) Vegas.

Fundora (22-2-1, 14 ko) says she is willing to defend against her mandatory Wbo Xander Zayas below, but Lewkowicz says she wants to discuss the options. There are more lucrative fights for Fundora against Errol Spence and Jermell Charlo.

Zayas’ mandate

Those are bigger names than Zayas, 22 years old. Top Rank will press so that your fighter, Xander, obtains your mandatory title title against Fundora. The OMB has made it clear that they want Funda to face Xander below. They have 120 days for the fight to happen. If Fundora misocups, that will not worry about the top range because they want Zayas to have the title, and no matter how he puts his hands in the belt. If you have a title, you will validate fans in the New York area and its native Puerto Rico.

Fundora has to make the right decision because you never know how a fight will result. Tonight, he looked great, knocking Booker in the fourth round and receiving a unemployment moments later. This was Sebastian’s first fight in a year, and it seemed that he had never been outside.

“We have many great combatants in this division in 154. We have one of them in the crowd, Zayas. I can’t wait to share the ring with him,” said Sebastian Fundora in the Press conference after the fight On Saturday night after his fourth -round victory over Chordale Booker.

Choice of promoter

“Then we have these other big names. We will see where those belts are going. I just need two other belts. When this happens, Puerto Rico against Mexico will be a great fight,” said Fundora on him and Xander Zayas. “It’s a great Latin fight. Boxing needs it right now.”

“It will be a good fight, but we need a few days to sit with the team to make a decision we want to go,” said promoter Sampson Lewkowicz about the next fight by Sebastian Fundora.
