TO Tourist in Mexico Face charges after climbing stairs from one of the new seven wonders of the world before furious premises take justice in their own hands when hitting man.
The images of spectators show the individual, which the authorities have not yet appointed, climbing the side of the Kukulcan temple in Chichén Itzá in Yucatan last week.

“He eluded us, although we monitor the western side of the temple,” said a member of the National Guard to Mexico News Daily. “It happened to us with us. It is clearly in good physical condition.”

The incident comes as Thousands of tourists come To Chichen Itzá to witness an event known as the descent of the feathered snake, a natural phenomenon where sunlight throws a snake -shaped shadow along the stairs of the pyramid, during the spring equinox.
The site houses a four -day program with activities for guests to enjoy. However, the events do not include climbing the pyramid of almost 1,000 years old, which was prohibited in 2006 to protect the structure.
The two tourists They were arrested and face potential fines under article 55 of the Federal Law on Monuments and Archaeological, Artistic and Historical Areas of Mexico, according to Mexico News Daily.

A surprisingly similar incident was developed two years ago when a Polish tourist decided to climb the same pyramid.
The man was filmed running along the stairs of the sacred temple before a spectator hit him with a stick while the authorities put him under arrest. The man was arrested in jail for 12 hours and fined 5,000 pesos, according to Mexico Daily Post.

The authorities of Chichén Itzá did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.
