Hollywood members shot at the president Donald Trump On Sunday, while he met in Washington, DC, for the Mark Twain award for American humor to honor the presenter and comedian Conan O’Brien, weeks after Trump announced radical changes in the structure of the Kennedy center.
Trump, who eliminated the leadership of the Kennedy center in February, now serves as president of the Kennedy Center Board. The new members at the Kennedy Center Trustees Board include Second Lady USHA VANCE, Chief of Cabinet of the White House, Susie Wiles, and the White House Cabinet Deputy Director Dan Scavino.
Comedian Sarah Silverman pointed to Trump several times on Sunday at the Mark Twain event, specifically citing a 2016 appearance at his in Conan in TBS, where he dressed as Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
“They wrote a little where Conan interview Hitler, who comes because he is ashamed that they compare him with Donald Trump,” said Silverman.
“I am not really an obvious option for Hitler. I mean, I am an obvious option for Hitler,” said Silverman, who is Jewish. “It is not an obvious option to play Hitler. But they chose me, and it is this way of thinking that Conan is great again. Really strange the days when you were the only one from Orange in the United States, hole.”

Silverman also remembered when he took a side photo of O’Brien’s mouth, and placed the image on his phone between his legs during an appearance in Conan in 2012, which led TBS to censor the image due to his similarity with the female genitals. He then instructed the audience to look under his seat, where they would find a copy of the image of O’Brien’s lips.

Silverman was not the only comedian to make fun of Washington at the ceremony. The comedian Nikki Glaser, who was the host of the Golden Globes in January, told journalists on the red carpet that it would be “crazy” not to address Trump’s shake in the event, while recalling that the purpose of the night was to celebrate O’Brien.

“I think it’s crazy not to go to the elephant in the room. And it’s like, it’s comic madness, not doing that, because it’s there,” Glaser said.
Glaser said the current political atmosphere gives comedians the opportunity to take advantage of a “rebel moment.”
“It is an easy laugh to say something about it, but you can also say something and have a rebel moment, which is always fun to work,” Glaser told journalists on the red carpet. “But I’m not going to make a meal … it’s not about.”
Glaser also told reporters that he did not want to discuss the policy because he did not want to alienate the members of the audience, and although he is more inclined to do so now, he worries the death threats and the Doxxed.
O’Brien also went to the shock of the Kennedy Center, and thanked the former president of the Kennedy Center, Deborah Rutter and President David Rubenstein, as well as other staff members “who are concerned about what the future could bring.”
“Thanks to my people who invited me here a few months ago: Deborah Rutter and David Rubenstein,” O’Brien said.
O’Brien also paid tribute to the author Mark Twain, who is named after the award, claiming that “Twain was a patriot in the best sense in the world.”

O’Brien, who Oscar host This month and is scheduled to organize the event next year, he told journalists about the red carpet that his material for next year will depend on current events, and that the ideas for content are always changing before such events.
“I couldn’t tell you what the Oscars would be next year of what I could three months, you know, in nine months,” O’Brien said.
Other comedians who have won the Mark Twain award for American humor include Ferrell, Tina Fey, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Adam Sandler and Kevin Hart.
