Rick Harrison and President Donald Trump Have a special link.
The personality of the “efforts” admitted in an interview in “In depth with Graham Bensinger” that once received an apology from President Trump after a setback between the reasserts with the Secret Service.
Harrison, a conservative for a long time, also suggested that politics can be in its near future after years of denying any political ambition.

The television star recalled a time when President Trump called to say that he was “forgiveness” after Harrison did not allow the backstage in a rally.
“So this is a little crazy,” he told Bensinger. “So this is in 2018, he is having a demonstration here in the city to … someone who runs for Congress and the Senate. And they wanted him to announce it in the rally. So I present myself with my son Jake and my daughter Serena, the staff of the White House says: ‘Hey Rick, how is it going?
As fast as they returned, the entrance to the event was denied.
“We go to the backstage and the Secret Service Van, ‘is not on the list,'” Harrison recalled. “And they go, ‘But it’s Rick Harrison’. And his friend says: ‘Not on the list. And I’m literally trying to call an American senator, other people, some congressmen.

“The secret service throws me to the public and I am harassed. And we had to leave. We couldn’t stay there. And I am fragrant.”
Harrison was not only a little ashamed, but he was upset to disappoint his son, who was excited to tell his friends that he was with the president.
“So I get one block from the camera and then the number of Senator Heller appears in my truck, and I am like, Senator Heller knows that I have no filter,” Harrison said. “Then, the first words of his mouth, he says: ‘Rick, before saying a word, the president of the United States would like to speak with you.”
Harrison added: “And the first words outside Trump’s mouths were: ‘Rick, I’m very sorry. This is my fault, because my White House staff, they work for me. They screwed it. That’s my fault. I’m sorry. They should have informed the secret service. I’m sorry, could they return to the conventions center? We will try to make this happen.’
“And you will not tell the president of the USA ‘No’, right? ”Harrison said.
“The first words outside Trump’s mouths were: ‘Rick, I’m very sorry. This is my fault, because my White House staff works for me. They were wrong. That makes my fault. I’m sorry.”

The lifelong television star has frustrated political ambitions, but admitted that it could be ready for a new concert.
“Give him a few years. He could,” he said when asked about running for governor. “I know I can’t completely change the world, but I would like to leave it in a better place. I just changed a little, to make it a little better.

“I do a lot of work with the work of charity and things like that. I am proud of that. So, maybe. I think I would do a good job in that.”

Harrison previously praised President Trump after the couple met after the loss of Harrison’s son, Adam, who died of a Fentanyl overdose in 2024.

The star of reality praised Trump and criticized politicians during the previous administration for being “accomplice” in fentanyl deaths.
“He is an incredible individual,” Harrison said about Trump, 77. “He wants to do something about it. There are so many different places in which you must start, all at once, but one of the main ones is to get the damn things from the country and stop making it so cheap to drug you.”
Harrison meant that “anyone” could pay a Fentanyl pill Due to the easily accessible market, but he suggested: “Let’s start arresting people who sell it, stopping people who bring it by the border, they close by the border, make it really expensive. Let’s make a death of fentanyl is rare.”
He added: “It’s crazy because they are letting happen. They are literally letting happen. They are not doing anything about it. So they are accomplices of all these deaths.”

Harrison told Fox News Digital that he found the Current border policy “Absolutely ridiculous” and blamed politicians for what he described as their inaction to prevent drugs from entering the country.

“Nothing is being done about it,” Harrison said. “It is the equivalent of a 737 (plane) loaded with passengers who crash every day. That is how people die. And, you know, politicians don’t want to talk about it. The news does not want to talk about it.”
“A large part is political. I mean, we know where everything comes from. Everything is reaching the border and they will do nothing about it. I mean, they are not doing anything.”
On January 19, 2024, Adam was found dead in a guest house in the Las Vegas area, according to an incident report obtained by The New York Post. Adam lived in the guest house for two weeks before his death, according to the report.
