Juju Watkins has taken the world of university basketball by assault. But, the southern Guard of California suffered a devastating, knee injury During a second round game in the NCAA Women’s Tournament on Monday.

“Prayers by Juju” Reese wrote In X, previously known as Twitter, along with an emoji of the sad face and praying.
Caitlin Clark, the current rookie of the WNBA year, also shared a support message for Watkins. “Send all my thoughts and prayers to Juju. The child will return stronger than ever,” Clark wrote In X.
Watkins received a foul while driving to the basket at a quick break around five minutes from Monday’s game. His right knee seemed to fasten the work, which made him fall on hard wood. He remained on the floor for more than a minute and had a visible pain while surrounding himself.

Watkins averaged 27.1 points per game during his first year. Clark, the leader of all time of Division I of the NCAA in male and female basketball, is the only player who averages more points than Watkins that season.

Watkins obtained the honors of the player of the year Big Ten and was an All-American of the first unanimous team for the second consecutive year. USC will meet with number 5 Kansas state At Sweet 16 on Friday at Spokane, Washington.
