Details of death have appeared Miller GardnerFourteen -year -old son of former New York Yankees star Brett Gardner.
Miller died on Friday, March 21, while the family was on holiday in the resort in Costa Rica, according to Monday 24 March reports Inside Edition. The report was reportedly confirmed by the US Embassy of Costa Rica.
Reports about Miller’s death were Announced in the statement of Brett, 41, and his wife, Jessica, Issued Yankees on Sunday, March 23.
“We are sad with heavy hearts to announce our youngest son Miller,” the statement read. “He was 14 years old and left us too soon after he got sick with several other family members during the holiday. We have so many questions at this point and so few answers, but we know that he died peacefully on Friday, March 21st on Friday, March 21.”

The statement continued: “Miller was a beloved son and brother, and we can’t understand our life without his infectious smile. He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and his friends.
Brett played all 14 seasons of his career MLB with Yankees before he left at the end of the 2021 season.
He and Jessica – who married in 2007 – share an older son, Hunter.
No cause of death was announced for Miller.
Yankees also published its own statement on Sunday after Miller’s death was revealed, which partly read: “Our love for the Gardner family is unconditional and absolute and we offer our lasting support and understand their desire for privacy at the moment.
Yankees CEO Aaron Boone addressed Miller’s death with reporters On Sunday in the spring training team in Tampa, Florida.
“We are talking about being constantly a family, and although Brett has been gone for several years, it continues,” said Boone, 52, for New York Post. “Many people in (clubhouse) know the family intimately. It’s a very hard day and very difficult news.”
Boone added: “As best we can, we will pray for the Gardner family and where we can offer support. This is the unimaginable kind that unfortunately it is where we are with it. Very sad. Very hard.”
Brett’s last four seasons with Yankees came with Boone as a team manager who took over duties in 2018.
New York Mets Manager Carlos Mendoza He also dealt with Miller’s death during his availability of the media on Sunday.
“I would like to start by sending my thoughts and prayers Jessica and Brett Gardner when losing my son,” said Mendoza (45) to journalists. “Obviously, I had a really good relationship with him. I’m thinking about him and the whole organization Mets is thinking about the Gardner family.”
Mendoza and Brett, 41, played together in Yankees’ Minor League Organization from 2006 to 2007 and Mendoza later managed Brett during Mendoza as a bench coach for Yankees. Mendoza was hired as a manager of Mets in November 2023.
“I also got two boys and were quite close,” Mendoza added.
