DHS, HUD I work to finish the ‘exploitation of housing programs’ by illegal immigrants


The Trump administration has begun an effort between agencies to end what describes as the “exploitation of housing programs” by illegal foreigners.

In a statement published on Monday, the Department of Urban Housing and Development of the United States (HUD) announced that it had established the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of the “American housing programs for US citizens.” The agreement was also signed by the United States National Security Department (DHS).

“This agreement will take advantage of resources, including technology and staff to ensure that Americans are the only priority when it comes to public homes,” Turner said. “We will continue working in close collaboration with DHS to maximize our resources and put American citizens first.”
