The DEM senator asks Waltz, Hegseth to resign, since Gabbard says there is no classified material shared in the signal

Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore, asked National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to resign on Tuesday after an apparent national security rape.

The lawsuit occurred after the director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard promised during an audience of the Senate’s Intelligence Committee that “there was no classified material” shared in a signal text chat to which an Atlantic editor said he had access. According to the reports, the American operation against the hutis in Yemen was discussed in the chat among the senior cabinet officials.
