The co -director Yuval Abraham said Ballal had been beaten and taken by soldiers while in an ambulance, although Israel has played this.

Without appointing Mr. Ballal, Israel’s defense forces (FDI) said three Palestinians and an Israeli had been arrested after being suspected of “throwing rocks” to security forces.

The five American Jewish activists said that around a dozen masked settlers had mounted an attack in the corner around 18:00 (16:00 GMT).

The activists said they had gone to the village to document the incident and attacked themselves, with the settlers breaking the windows of their car and hitting them and hitting them with sticks.

Yuval Abraham, the Israeli director who won the Oscar this month with Mr. Ballal, said people had been injured and properties destroyed in the attack.

An activist told the BBC that they had complained to Israeli soldiers that they were under attack. They said that the army had intervened and that the settlers had retired.

The Israel army confirmed that the Soldiers of the FDI and the Israeli police had arrived to disperse the confrontation.

They said the rocks had been “thrown” to the security forces.

“In response, the forces arrested three Palestinians suspected of throwing rocks towards them, as well as an Israeli civilian involved in the violent confrontation,” said the FDI.

“The Israel police took the detainees to question more.

They have expanded in the last 55 years, becoming a focal point for violence and conflicting claims on the earth.

Since the outbreak of the Israel-Ahamas War in 2023, the violence of the settlers against the Palestinian civilians in the West Bank has increased.
