United States on Tuesday added dozens of Chinese technology companies to its black exportlist In his first effort under the Donald Trump administration, since he doubles to reduce Beijing’s artificial intelligence and advanced computing capabilities.
The Office of Industry and Security of the US Commerce Department added 80 organizations to a “list of entities”, with more than 50 from China, which prohibit US companies to supply those on the list without government permits.

“The entity list is one of the many powerful tools at our disposal to identify and cut foreign adversaries that seek to exploit US technology for malignant purposes,” he added.
Inspur Group and Huawei did not immediately respond to CNBC comments requests.
