Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen They strengthened their condition as a style icons, but their signature wavy hairstyles are legendary. However, their efforts, but sophisticated waves, are the product of years of improvement, as revealed by their long -time hairdresser, Mark Townsend.
Townsend that shared knowledge about Podcast “Gloss Angeles”He told the development of nurses for two decades and worked with the twins Olsen since he was 16 years old.
“At first, careful outbreaks and hardware were necessary,” he explained. “It was a struggle for who first sat on my chair. He continued to explain that the process included no doubt iron, amplified” tons of dry shampoo “on the roots and salt spray to make the ends.
When Olsens accepted more natural aesthetics, it was less about heavy products and more about the fact that effortlessly blown by the wind, which is now known to blond twins.
“(They) began to get into the drying of the air, then the fight always happened about who would have to come to me first because they wanted to dry as much as possible,” Townsend recalled.

The first example is Gala Look Ashley, now 38, wearing in 2013: Slply vintage Dior dress that seemed to float on the red carpet. “It was crazy,” Townsend recalled. “It was completely handmade. Women spent hundreds of hours harassing every jewel for this dress.”
Ashley was equally determined to maintain the complex handwork of Couture and disable the use of a blowing dryer or anything else in this nature. “(She) ask,” I don’t want to use warmth, I don’t want to use tools, “the stylist said.

“I wouldn’t say that she intentionally behaved against the topic,” Townsend said with a blink. “But the topic was very about machine age.” This approach was worthwhile when he achieved a simple but striking style that complemented her smooth dress – an ironic result due to her “hairless instruments” policy.
“I put my hair clips and left it through the air, and it turned out that it was so perfect,” he growled. “We had a link: Jesus.” Her glam really was nothing but heavenly.
While fashionable elections Mary-Kate and Ashley often overlap, shared love for excessive clothing, neutrals and layers, they also have clear styles-and hair textures.
“They have such different hair; I approach them completely differently,” he explained. “I use a product for each of them. Ashley’s hair is much more courious and much darker, but Mary-Kate is a little coarser.” This individualized approach underlines the adapted nature of their signature waves.

The philosophy also encapsulates the permanent impact of nurses on the fashion and cosmetic industry Linewhich is named after unique Savile Row clothing. Olsen Twins avoid the common practice of tying their brand closely to their personal identity.
“They don’t follow trends – they usually set them – so they do what works best for them, what looks best on them and it’s the same with their hair,” Townsend said in 2013 interview with People. “They have such an amazing style; it’s so inspiring. And it’s so personal.” Maybe that’s why it’s so aspiring.
