“The old relationship we had with the United States, based on the deepening of the integration of our economies and strict security and military cooperations, has ended,” he told reporters. “The time for a wide renegotiation of our security and trade relationship will come.”

Carney’s comments did not specify the future of the Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) of the United States (USMCA), which renegotiated during Trump’s first mandate in office.
