The featherweight contender, Bruce Carrington (14-0, 8 kos) says that he is ready to organize a show in his fight of 10 rounds against Enrique Vivas (23-3, 12 kos) for the event at 7 pm Et/4 pm PT in ESPN and ESPN+ this Saturday, March 29 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, in Las Vegas.

The highly classified WBC #1, #1 WBO and #2 WBA, Carrington has been criticized by some fans for calling the Nick Ball and Stephen Fulton champions, but not by the dangerous 6’1 ″ Rafael Espinoza champion (26-0, 22 kos).
Carrington, 27, says Top Rank told him that Espinoza is not interested in fighting him. Obviously, that is difficult to believe because Espinoza has been defeating everyone and looked like 24k gold, stopping the former OMB champion Robeisy Ramírez in the sixth round on December 6 of last year. Espinoza made the two -time Olympic gold medalist resigned in the sixth.
Bruce is on the old side to be a prospect, and cannot afford to wait too long to fight for a world title before it ages. You do not see too many age perspectives in Carrington when they are being excited as he is. Something has to be ready to still be cooked by the best range.
“We are ready to organize a show. Two reasons. Fulton’s ball and fight are the most attractive and lucrative fight in terms of fighting for the world title. Two, I got the word that (Rafael) Espinoza does not want to fight with me,” said Bruce Carrington to Sean ZittelWhen asked about his thoughts about fans who say he is aiming at the pen champions Nick Ball and Stephen Fulton, but not the WBO champion Rafael Espinoza.
It would be interesting to hear what is the side of Espinoza’s story if he confirms what Carrington is talking about. It is too incredible. Why did a knockout artist like Espinoza bend a defective contender like Carrington, who looked terrible against Sulaiman Segawa last September and is still fighting in preliminary letters?
“So, what is the point of calling it (Esinoza)? Of course, I understand it. You have seen me call all the champions,” Carrington said. “I don’t know why you are even questioning me about that. You have seen me say that I want to fight with Espinoza. They saw me go to one of your fights, saying: ‘I’m going to cut that tree.”
The way Carrington worked when he talked about Espinoza is very suspicious. A person does not get everything, it looks like a fifteenth century, Great Inquisitor He is questioning him unless they are hiding something. Okay if Bruce prefers to fight Ball and Fulton instead of Espinoza because those are more liveable fights with less risk. But he would like Carrington to say it as it is.
“You forget so fast, but he doesn’t want to fight with me,” Carrington said. “So what is the point of raising it? I want to fight against the boys who potentially want to fight with me and that would possibly be the most lucrative fights anyway, the most attractive fights anyway to become a bigger fighter, a bigger name in the division. Fulton and Nick Ball, those are the two fights that are the most interesting for me at this time.
“I got the word that he (Espinoza) is not interested in fighting, and I understand. I get the risk and respect him. His time will arrive. I would love that to happen too. That would be an easy fight to make it.
