Intel announces that three members of the Board will be removed after the CEO shake

Three members of Intel’s The Board of Directors will not represent reelection in May, the company said in a Presentation Thursday.

Omar Ishrak, former CEO of Medtronic; Lavizzo-Mourey laugh, doctor and philanthropist; and the king of Tsu-Jae Liu, dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of California, Berkeley, will retire from the Board of the Annual Intel meeting in May.

Intel has nominated 11 directors, who currently serve at the Board, including the new CEO Lip-Bu Tan.

The shaking occurs after Intel called so to lead the chip manufacturer in difficulties earlier this month, PAT GELSINGER replacementwho left the company in December. Intel shares have dropped almost 49% during the past year, driven by concerns about the company’s spending on new chips factories and its lowercase market share in chips for artificial intelligence.

He will speak publicly next week at the company’s Intel Vision event in Las Vegas. It is expected to go to a Business Technology Executives Bailer on Intel’s future. The talk is titled “A New Intel”.

Intel undertakes to have the correct combination of “skills, qualifications and technical experience” on its board of directors, wrote the president of the Board, Frank Yeary, in a letter to the shareholders.

“With the lip-bu now on board, we continue to undertake an honest evaluation of the business to build on Intel’s many strengths so that our profitability will improve and generate incremental yields of incremental investments,” Yeary wrote.
