“To get a permit to do something, take weeks and months and, sometimes, a year to rebuild, do something, put a roof in something,” said Steinfeld.

“It’s crazy.”

He criticized state and local leaders for their crisis management.

“You listen to the mayor and the governor, all they are singing is that we are at the speed of light, things are at the speed of light,” he said.
