An American woman who had been stopped by the Taliban since February has been released, said a source with knowledge of Fox News on Saturday.
The American citizen Faye Hall was released on Thursday and received at the Qatar embassy in Kabul. It has been confirmed that it has good health after undergoing a series of medical controls, said the source. Arrangements are currently being made for their return to the United States.
The Taliban agreed to free Hall after President Donald Trump eliminated multimillion -dollar rewards to the high -level members of the militant group, according to a report from The telegraph.

Hall launch occurs after the taliban has launched American Habén George Glezmann65, last week after holding it for more than two years. That agreement was also achieved after negotiations between the Trump administration and Qatar officials. Glezmann was kidnapped while visiting Kabul as a tourist on December 5, 2022.
Two other Americans, Ryan Corbett and William McKenty, were released earlier this year in exchange for a Taliban member in custody of the United States in a last -hour agreement reached by the Biden administration.
