The moon darkened part of the sun on Saturday, throwing a dark shadow on cities around the world.
The show was visible in parts of North America, Europe, Africa, northern Asia and small parts of South America, with points of view available throughout the United Kingdom.
According to NASA, it was not total anywhere in the world, but the regions of the Northeast of Canada saw up to 92% of the covered sun.
