While Americans go to the streets to enjoy the spring weather this weekend, protesters around the world Saturday will participate in the “Global Action of Tesla Takedown” previously planned on Saturday.
The objective of the protesters, according to the Organization’s websiteIt is to send a crystalline message that they are against the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk. The group describes itself as a decentralized base movement that “will protest in Tesla during the time that Elon Musk continues to destroy public services.” The organizers plan to celebrate demonstrations in more than 200 Locations of Tesla in the United States
Fox News Digital spoke with Joshua Schirard, director of the Police of Byrna and former police officer of Galveston, Texas and Captain Swat, about how everyday Americans, as well as the owners of electric vehicles, can remain on a maximum alert.
“This weekend, when we have this day of demolition of Tesla, we have an additional situational consciousness and put a little more effort to plan what you are going to do, some routes that you are going to take this weekend,” he said.

The organization’s website indicates that Tesla Takedown is a “peaceful protest movement.”
“We oppose violence, vandalism and property destruction,” they wrote. “This protest is a legal exercise of our right of the first amendment to the Pacific Assembly.”
Despite the organization, the weekend of weekend protests as peaceful, the past actions have placed the demonstrations under illegal light. From Oregon to Massachusetts, Tesla’s cars and facilities have been destroyed in at least 10 locations this year.

Schirard said there have been “clearly” communication on how to aim at Tesla’s dealers and owners this weekend.
“If I had a Tesla, I could park it during the weekend just to be sure,” he said. “I wish we didn’t have to say that, but unfortunately we do it.”

For Tesla owners, Schirard recommends buying a canvas and placing the electric vehicle in their “Sentinel mode”, a feature that acts as a surveillance system. When it is in this way, the cameras and vehicle sensors can record the activity around them.
“Think of Sentry mode as a smart vehicle safety system that alerts it when it detects possible nearby threats,” according to the Tesla Model 3 Owner Manual.

Be “more vigilant”
Residents who do not own Tesla can still participate in keeping public property safe and preventing bad actors from violating activism.
“For the rest of the American citizens who are not Tesla drivers, while they are out of this weekend, you must stay more attentive to help each other,” Schirard said. “If a Tesla dealership is happening, take a look and see if there is any active protest or some vandalism, some violence.”

“The police are already taxed and stretched thin enough. The only way we can successfully protect a community is with the help, support and contributions of those citizens,” said Schirard. “So be sure to see something, although it may seem less, call 911.”

Police in “Maximum Alert”
Schirard said he is confident that police authorities from all over the country are arguing how to address and combat the violence of Tesla.
“Most police departments are now very driven by Intel. We are constantly looking at what this future threat could be. And we have a lot of talk on social networks, in the main media and local sources about this demolition of Tesla,” he said.

“It is very likely that we see some diverted resources in the police departments only to ensure that some of those largest Tesla dealers are covered, and that more public and commercial places also have additional coverage.”
