The Wisconsin Superintendent, Jill Underly, who runs for re -election on Tuesday, says he wants to see School choice eliminated in your state.

Underly was first chosen to serve as Wisconsin State Public Instruction Superintendent in 2021.
During his first career, it was discovered that he sent his children to private school from 2013 to 2015; Subsequently they attended the Pectonica school district when he became his superintendent in 2015.
“Like most families, my husband and I have balanced our careers, our child care needs, our transport needs and the schools of our children,” explained At the moment. “I was happy to have my children very young at the Catholic School in my own parish when they were in the kindergarten, and our district did not offer throughout the pre-K day, and then their needs were better satisfied by public schools as they became primary.”

The Wisconsin first school election program was promulgated in 1989 for students in the city of Milwaukee with a family income of less than 175% of the federal poverty level and has expanded over the decades.
Today, Wisconsin school choice programs are open to all students, subject to residence, attendance of the previous year and income limits.

Corey Deangelis, the main member of the American Culture and Visitor Project at the American Economic Research Institute, told Fox News Digital in a statement that parents have more control over their money with the election of the school.
“The choice of school does not take money from public schools,” Deangelis said. “Public schools take money from families. Wisconsin school choice programs simply return money to the hands of legitimate owners.”
