Boxing results: Zepeda obtains a very close majority decision on farmers; Collazo gets dramatic in Cancun


The WBC’s interim light weight champion, William Zepeda, won a majority decision of 12 rounds on the former Super Pluma Champion of the FIB, Tevin Farmer, on Saturday night at the main event in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The left-handed Zepeda, 33-0 (27) gained a majority decision of 12 rounds over the farmer, 33-8-1 (8). In the first round, he was close, since Zepeda could have taken it out. In the second round, everything was Zepeda, since he hurt Farmer in recent seconds. In the third round, Zepeda continued to press Farmer, who replied when he could.

In the first two minutes of the fourth round, everything was Zepeda to the body. In the last minute, the farmer returned, causing Zepeda hurting. In recent seconds, it was Zepeda Rallying.
