Max Scherzer’s Toronto Blue Jays The debut ended before what many probably expected.
The three -time winner of the Cy Young award launched 45 launches before an apparent thumb injury forced him to leave the game after only three tickets.
The Blue Jays later said that Scherzer was dealing with the pain of lat.

He hinted that overcoming the third entry into the game against the Baltimore Orioles I could have led to more problems.
“After that third entry, I could say we were in imminent danger,” said Scherzer. “If you go through this and keep throwing how the fatigue of the arm, this will go.”
Scherzer also admitted that he did not feel completely comfortable when he threw himself at the bullpen before Saturday’s game.
“Today warming up, I could feel that my Latin was tight … let (Schneider) know before the game, ‘hey, work with me here. I only know that something could be happening,” he said.

Scherzer has sustained with numerous injuries throughout his career.
Launched for him Texas Rangers Last season, but the year began in the injured list when he recovered from the rear surgery. His debut in 2024 was further delayed for a nervous problem. Scherzer did nine openings last season.

Scherzer gave three hits and a couple of races won before leaving Saturday. The Blue Jays lost 9-5. The final game of the four -game series is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Rogers Center.
