An attempted robbery He was frustrated at a Texas car dealership after a man called 911 to inform that he had been injured during the robbery, police said.
The Tyler Police Department He arrested Jeremiah Megallon after receiving a call from him that had been injured while trying to enter the Dodge de Patterson dealership.
Police say that the call came around 3:45 am on Thursday from Megallon, who said he had just entered the concessionaire and needed help.
“He said he had entered the Dodge de Patterson dealership in an attempt to steal a car, but could not leave the building,” said Public Information officer Andy Erbaugh to Fox News Digital. “He had cut off a window to the concessionaire and drag through him.”

Erbaugh said Megallon said he was trying to steal a car throwing a rock through a window to enter the building and cut.
“Unfortunately for him, there were several unlocked doors that he could have used to leave,” Erbaugh added. “After 26 years here, the truth is more strange than fiction.”

Erbaugh said that this was not the first time in his career he had treated with a suspect who became the police.
“Several years ago, it was a crimes against the detective of people, and one of the cases we took was a 75 -year -old retired dentist who called us to tell us that he had fired and killed his wife,” Erbaugh recalled.

Erbaugh was talking about Dr. Bobby Nichols, who admitted to having fired his wife, Rosalind Nichols, after an argument when he returned home of a drink night in 2012.
“He said: ‘I am a retired dentist, and she kept bothering (I),” Erbaugh recalled. “He said: ‘I went out to have a beer in Willowbrook Country Club’, which is one of our local country clubs, she didn’t like it.”
Erbaugh recalled that Nichols said: “‘I had another when I got home, and she didn’t stop, so I put on the gun and shot her.”
Erbaugh said that Nichols was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his wife’s murder.
