Frozen trees break in Ontario’s ice storm

More than 350,000 Canadians faced energy cuts in southern Ontario when an ice storm moved through the region during the weekend.

The images show trees, parks and ice -coated houses in Orillia, a city that declared an emergency state on Sunday due to the storm.

The city officials described the situation as “very serious.”
