Caleb Plant said last Saturday night Edgar Berlanga “does not want to fight with me.” He says they sent a contract to Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos), but there has been no response.

Eddie Hearn of Matchroom expected a fight between Berlanga and the Interim Middle champion of medium weight of the amb (23-2, 14 kos) because he would interest fans. However, the two best options in Berlanga are Jaime Munguia and Jermall Charlo.
Edgar is thinking of “The Bag” It can enter a PPV fight of Mexico against Puerto Rico against Munguia. If Berlanga can overcome the former 154-pound champion of the OMB, Munguia, fighting Jermall (33-0, 22 ko) would also interest fans.
Charlo used to be a popular fighter before stopping fighting in 2021. Younger fans do not know who he is, but enough are willing to buy a fight between him and Berlanga to make decent numbers in PPV or in one of the events of the Riyader season if the Saudis choose to sign it for a contract.
Berlanga is good to create interest in his fights, but he is unable to overcome the fighters of level A. He can do it well as long as he is coincident against beatable fighters. Jermall, 35, and Munguia are guys against which Edgar could do well. The plant would not be a good option because it is too skilled.
Contract silence
“No, but we sent the contract,” said Caleb Plant last Saturday night to media When asked if Edgar Berlanga is his next fight. Plant gave the interviewer an exasperated look when asked if Berlanga signed the contract with him.
“We are about to see in one or two days,” Caleb said when asked if Berlanga responded to the contract offer. “I just stay attentive, but it won’t be him. He doesn’t want to fight with me. If he is a free agent? Is it free to go to where he wants? If he frees to fight what he wants? Here I am. Then, there you go. Ajume his A **,” said Plant on how to win Berlanga.
Plant should not be surprised that Berlanga is not going to fight it because he mentioned his ultimate name to take out his list of three fighters hits after his first-round knockout victory over Jonathan González-Oortiz, 35 on March 15 at the Caribbean Royale in Orlando. When Berlanga, 27, was interviewed in the locker room, he said repeatedly: “F *** Plant”, which means he does not want to fight him.
Berlanga, 27, recovered from his loss of unilateral decision of 12 assaults against Canelo Álvarez on September 14 by knocking Jonathan González-Oortiz in the first round on March 15. He currently took #3 WBO and wants to get a quick rematch with Canelo so he can have another great payment day.
Berlanga believes that beating Munguia and Charlo would give him the second fight against Álvarez. Depending on how reacted the risk is cinnamon with its glorified retirement tour, it could take more than that. There are many people to fight, but many of them are risky games.
