Donald Trump has said a meeting is being arranged between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The US president-elect did not give any timeline for when the meeting could take place.
“He wants to meet and we are organizing it,” he said in statements at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Trump has vowed to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine shortly after taking office on Jan. 20 and has expressed skepticism about U.S. military and financial support for kyiv.
