Congress last year passed the law this would force ByteDance, TikTok’s Chinese parent company, to sell the app or face a US ban. Attorneys for the US Department of Justice plan to argue that the measure is needed for mitigation national security risks created by the program. TikTok law will be contested stifles free speech about 170 million Americans.
