In an effort to support the couple, fans catapulted Montag’s debut album, released in 2010, to the top of the iTunes charts, where at the time of release, it had secured the number one spot for both song and in album.
On Friday, days after his house burned down, Pratt acknowledged a growing interest in his wife’s music. “The best news I’ve had in a week, which isn’t saying much. Thanks to everyone who broadcasts. Montag’s album, ‘Superficial’. For the first time, I’m in the top 50 on iTunes right now,” he told his devoted TikTok followers.

When the album was released 15 years ago, the second single, “Superficial,” failed to chart.
Hours after its initial TikTok video, the album peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes charts, much to Pratt’s delight. “Anyone who hasn’t gone to iTunes, do it now. Let’s go to No. 1,” Pratt enthused. “We’ll have the screenshot, she’ll be a famous pop star by the time her kids grow up. She’ll be in the history books,” he joked. “They won’t know it’s because our house burned down, we have no possessions and people are just trying to support us. They’ll say, ‘Wow! My mom was a pop superstar that was number 1 on the charts.'”

In the span of 12 hours, Pratt posted more than four dozen videos on TikTok, responding to fans and haters alike.
“Let’s be clear. If I sound like the most unhinged, unhinged person on this entire app, I am. Let’s make that clear. I’ve lost my mind,” she told the camera, admitting everything she could think of. They were all the reckless purchases I had made over the years. “I’m keeping it cool here, because I have two kids and I want them to go to college and have a damn life, okay? So this is collapsing at its finest, okay?”

In another video, Pratt said, “I’ve been ‘faking it ’til you make it’ since 2007. Guess what? Faking it ’til you make it doesn’t cut it. Especially when it all burns down.”
Last week, Montag and Pratt confirmed that their multimillion-dollar home in Pacific Palisades was lost in the fire. One of the first celebrities to announce they had been evacuated, the couple was able to watch their home being destroyed in real time, thanks to the property’s security cameras.

A representative for the couple did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
