The exclusive Chateau Marmont, a favorite hotel of many of Hollywood’s most famous stars, is opening its doors to firefighters and evacuees from the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
“To the heroes and victims in the Hollywood community who have lost their homes… we would like to invite you to our safe haven,” the hotel announced via Instagram post on Sunday, January 12. “For the next week, we are making our cabins available for free two-night stays to Los Angeles firefighters and union members representing our city’s creative industries.”
In order for firefighters and people displaced by the ongoing fires to take advantage of the offer, the post instructs those in need to “call the hotel directly.” You can find the correct number for Chateau Marmont in the hotel bio on Instagram.
“Chat requests will be placed in the order they are received,” the post concluded.
At least 16 people have died in five wildfires around LA, according to local authorities, although officials believe the toll is likely to rise as more search and rescue efforts continue.
