I certainly NEVER foresaw any of this,” she wrote in part. “I don’t think I’ll ever fully get into all the aspects of how that came about, but it has to be said that while it wasn’t a mutual decision, I realize that in the grand scheme of things, it may end up being the right thing.”
LaPaglia addressed O’Malley’s Instagram post on the Wednesday, Dec. 11, episode of her “BFFs” podcast.explaining that their friendship began to crack due to tension between O’Malley and LaPaglia’s ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan. (LaPaglia accused Bryan of abuse after they broke up in late October.)
“They’re two separate conversations because like when Zach destroyed Grace and I’s friendship, there’s something separate,” LaPaglia said. “She knew what I was going through. I really needed her so I couldn’t do the podcast anymore because we’re sitting there pretending to be friends. I didn’t feel like she saw me. I needed to set a boundary.”
