Watch the SpaceX rocket take off for the Moon

A SpaceX rocket lifted off from Florida carrying two privately built lunar landers and a microrover to the Moon.

The uncrewed Falcon 9 lifted off Wednesday from the Kennedy Space Center.

Later Wednesday, SpaceX is expected to conduct the seventh flight test of the Starship rocket. Last year it completed a world first after part of it was captured on its return to the launch pad.

This comes days after the launch of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket was postponed due to a “vehicle subsystem issue.”
