“I’m starting to promote my girl Leighton Meester and help her family recover from the fire,” the 65-year-old musician described. TikTok video himself dancing with Meester and Robin Thicke2009 single “Somebody to Love” on Tuesday 14 January.
Flav encouraged fans to show their support for the actress in the caption of the post, writing: “Stream @LeightonMeester Somebody to Love and use the song on yo TikTok 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.”
Meester, 38, and her husband, Adam Brodyare said to be among the many celebrities who have they lost their homes due to wildfires in LA that started last week and forced thousands to evacuate the area. The couple, who married in 2014 and have two children, have not commented publicly on the destruction of their home.

Meester released her debut single “Somebody to Love” while starring on the hit series Gossip Girlwhich ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012. In 2009 and 2010, she released a cover version of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and the single “Your Love’s A Drug” before releasing her solo album, Little heartsin 2014.
Meester’s musical credits also include singing in the 2010 film Earth strong and being featured in Cobra Starship’s 2009 hit “Good Girls Go Bad”.

In addition to helping Meester, Flav announced on Saturday the 11th. TikTok uploads that he “contributed to GoFundMe programs as well as programs of many non-profit organizations.” He added: “I would like everyone to join your boy Flavor Flav and help donate to all these families right now that need it because they need us right now.”
One of the families Flav is helping through social media is Montag, 38, and her husband, Spencer Pratt. Assisted Montag’s 2010 album, Shallow, reach number one on the iTunes charts using his song “I’ll Do It” in several TikTok posts. “Doing my part to get Heidi Montag to #1,” he wrote alongside clip as he dances with Montag’s song playing over the top. “I wish you all a speedy recovery and stay safe, !! 🙏🏾,” Flav added in the caption along with tagging Montag and Pratt’s TikTok handles.
Spencer’s sister, Stephanie Prattfirst confirmed that the couple and their sons, Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months, they lost their home to fires via Instagram January 7th. The two continued to share updates with fans on social media with Spencer they tearfully thank their fans for the support of his wife’s music va TikTok video.
“We spent all our money on this album, Shallow15 years ago. … Every dollar we’ve made Hillswe put in this album, Shallow,” he explained on Sunday, January 12. … Do you know how many times we cried and how much we regretted spending all our money and investing it and believing in Heidi’s music?
For her part, Montag shared a TikTok clip by itself shopping at Marshalls for new clothes on Sunday. “It sounds silly, but it really makes me miss my stuff,” she said. “(But) this place has some real treasure.”
