Kelly Osbourne calls out celebrities he believes are using the Los Angeles fires for personal attention.
Osbourne, 40, did not name names but hit out at the “disturbing” trend of stars continuing to post how they are helping victims of the bushfires, which have so far killed 25 people.
“Is it just me being my normal thoughtful, cynical self, or is it really disturbing to see all these celebrities using other people’s pain and suffering as a photo op to say, Look, I’m helping, I’m doing this? Am I doing it?” she asked in a video posted via TikTok on Tuesday, January 14.
“I don’t believe you help because you get attention for helping, I believe you only help because you want to.” I’m so confused, I think it’s so bad,” she continued. “No one asked you to come out and hug you, go home.

Kelly’s comments come as celebrities around the world are donating their time and money to help with the fires. Many have done so publicly, sharing photos and videos of themselves volunteering.

Actress Jessica Albameanwhile, she spent Tuesday helping Baby2Baby, an organization she serves on the board of, pack hygiene kits. She posted photos to her Instagram story and encouraged her followers to donate what they can.
A host of other celebrities including Beyonce, Paris Hilton, Jamie Lee Curtis and Eva Longoria have donated money to organizations supporting forest fire relief. Since Wednesday, January 15, the Palisades and Eaton fires have damaged or destroyed more than 12,300 buildingsaccording to CNN. This includes the homes of many celebrities, including Hilton, Mel Gibson, Anna Faris and Billy Crystal.
