James Van Der Beek is all for a Dawson’s Creek reunion – even if it’s completely fake.
Van Der Beek, 47, recently gave his consent to a series of AI-generated photos posted on social media of him and his former fellow citizens. Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.

Van Der Beek revealed the images on Tuesday, January 14, replying in the comments section “Cute!!!”

Van Der Beek played Dawson Leery The WB series from 1998 to 2003. Holmes portrayed his BFF and childhood sweetheart Joey Potter, while Jackson played their other best friend and Joey’s true love, Pacey Witter. Williams, meanwhile, was a nervous Jen Lindley.

At the time, Van Der Beek revealed that he was struggling stage 3 colorectal cancer. “I’m very cautiously optimistic,” he said People in November 2024. “I am in a place of healing; my energy level is great.”

“I’m grateful for all of it. Because the giant life put cancer in my way again,” added Van Der Beek. “For the gift of knowing what it’s like to have friends go through it on such a deep level in a way that I would never be able to ask for if I wasn’t going through it.”
He concluded by saying, “I am grateful to each and every one of you who reached out to us and sent good vibes and prayers. It all fits and makes a difference.”
