Cam Newton and Kayla Nicole’s Special Forces Feud Explained

It shows special units costars Kayla Nicole and Cam Newton they crossed paths (at least virtually) before their stay in Wales.

In April 2022, the quarterback, now 35, raised eyebrows for his remarks about women during an appearance on “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” Podcast.

“Now a woman, to me, takes care of your own, but knows how to meet a man’s needs. Right?” Newton said. “And I often think when you get that aesthetic like, ‘I’m the boss of the bitch, I’m this, I’m that.’ No, baby! But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet. You don’t know how to let men to lead.”

Nicole who walked Travis Kelce at the time, he took to Twitter (now known as X) to comment on the remarks.

“The obsession with women being able to cook is really comical. Because it’s like having your palate so delicious, with a Michelin star chef, than with a god. It is certain that the average woman is capable of preparing an edible meal. How do you think she survived so far?” the influencer tweeted.

In another post, Nicole added: “It’s not really about if she can cook – it’s more about wanting to cook for your hungry hippo.”

Nicole went on to comment on the situation via Instagram Live, which was picked up by TMZ Sports: “I think it’s silly that we have to keep having the same tired conversation about the qualities that make a woman special. This man said you have to know how to cook and be quiet because his mom did. Like a boy, go date your mom.”

The following day, Nicole clarified her statements.

“I have no ‘beef’ with anyone. I have beef with an idea that reduces a woman’s worth to what is put on the plate,” she wrote. “This story was shared publicly on a podcast, it is important that it is publicly condemned. Now if you’ll all excuse me, go order the postmen.”

While Newton did not address Nicole directly, he claimed he was unfairly “scrutinized” at the time.

“You can’t expect so much from a person and give so little.” … I should have said on top of what I also said and mentioned that not only should a woman know when to be quiet, but a man should know when to be quiet,” Newton said in a YouTube video. “Whatever you want to be as a human being – male or female – you should be. And I don’t think I’m going as deep as I should.”

“I have daughters,” he continued. “When the day comes when my daughters look back and say, ‘Holy shit, Dad, what did you mean by that,’ I’m not going to hide and say, ‘Well, that’s just taken out of context.'”

Newton has eight children, including three daughters, with several different women. Last time he and girlfriend Jasmine Brown welcomed a baby girl in 2024.

Nicole and Kelce, meanwhile, broke up for good in 2022 after dating for five years. He started walking Taylor Swift during the summer of 2023. On special unitsNicole talked about the backlash she received from Swift’s fans, but also praised the Grammy winner.
