Turki Al-Sheikh says he will speak to the recently retired Tyson Fury about bringing him back. He says he wants to give ‘The Gypsy King’ as a gift “sometimes” before talking to him about fighting.
Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) could still be salty from his recent loss to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 in Riyadh. At the post-fight press conference, he was in full denial mode, unwilling to accept that Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) had soundly beaten him in his 12-round unanimous decision victory.
Tyson claimed he had won by three rounds and many of his fans backed up this illusion by saying the same thing. Interestingly, Tyson also felt like he won the first fight with Usyk. He just thinks the judges have worked him over and is bitter about it.
The withdrawal part was a classic instinctive reaction from the ‘Gypsy King’, as if to say: ‘You won’t have me to kick anymore.’ It is in total immersion mode, being passive-aggressive to punish the boxing world for not giving him the victory over Usyk. It’s so childish but completely predictable on Fury’s part. He wants his needs to be met with the victory he has been granted and cannot accept defeat with a rigid upper limit like most mature adults.
“First of all, this type of decision must be made by the combatants. Of course, as a boxing fan, I don’t like it,” Turki Al-Sheikh told talkSport Boxing on Tyson Fury’s retirement.
“We want to see Tyson in more big fights, but I can understand his situation. You don’t know, these types of decisions can be changed over time. I will support him and discuss it with him. “I’ll leave him for a while so he can be with his family and then we can discuss it.”
Obviously, Fury will fight again. when turkish million waves under his gaze from a fight with Joshua, he will return and act as before. Tyson loves money too much not to come back and get that money for AJ’s fights.
