Music legend Kid Rock criticized former first lady Michelle Obama for not planning to attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, saying she “seems a little mad.”

Kid Rock, who will perform at the inauguration festivities on Jan. 20, argued that Obama should attend out of “respect for the presidency.”

“I’d like to remind you that years ago when (Barack) Obama was first elected, I didn’t vote for him, but I was asked to perform at the inauguration, and I played it and went,” Rock told “Jesse Watters Primetime.” Thursday night, remembering having a “good” time regardless of the politics.

“So I’d like to remind Miss Michelle,” Kid Rock continued, noting that he attended former President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony out of respect for the presidential process.
