Twin Peaks mastermind David Lynch has died


It’s a sad day for movie lovers. David Lynchthe influential creative master, whose style was so distinguished by his own face – “Lynchian”, of course, died. The news has been shared in a post on the official Facebook page:

It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of David Lynch, the man and the artist. We would appreciate some privacy at this time. Now that he is not with us, there is a great void in the world. But as he said, “Keep your eye on the cat, not the hole.”

While this news represents a devastating loss for cinema, it’s not entirely a surprise; the news broke last year Lynch, who would have turned 79 on January 20, had been dealing with health issues related to a diagnosis of emphysema.
