Another big name added Monkey the producer is James Wan, so there’s a pretty terrific trifecta working together here. Theo James has a dual lead role as twin brothers who discover that a toy monkey they find in their father’s attic – something terrifying to look at – is cursed by something cruel and murderous. Tatiana Maslany and Elijah Wood also star.

The trailer, whose initial release was slightly delayed out of respect for the fires in Los Angeles, comes after a noticeable laugh that persisted on social media last week. Monkey‘s trailer will fill your eyeballs with terrifying images:
