Houses and roads inundated by floods in Brazil

A state of emergency has been declared in southern Brazil after heavy rain caused flooding in coastal cities such as Balneário Camboriú and Itapema.

Footage shows partially submerged cars navigating flooded streets and the mayor of Itapema, Alexandre Xepa, calling for help and rescue.
