Jason Kelce pokes fun at himself after a similar contest was held in his honor.
Dozens of lookalikes gathered at Rittenhouse Square Park in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 14, to be crowned the best likeness of the former Philadelphia Eagles center. Nevertheless, according to Kelka (37), the bar is low.
On the Monday, December 16 episode of ESPN’s Monday night countdownKelce expected to talk about football, but his co-hosts, led by s Scott Van Peltsurprised social media footage from the competition. “What are we doing now? Why is this—” asked a confused Kelce.
While his co-hosts made jokes about his ilk – “There are five guys! That guy in the sweater, I thought it was you!” — Kelce poured cold water on the idea that he had a unique look.
“Newsflash: Every fat white guy with a beard looks like me!” he said. “It’s an easy contest. There’s nothing special about any of these gentlemen except that they’re big, bearded, Caucasian-skinned people.”
Kelce also gave his opinion on who should have won — and it wasn’t the eventual winner.
“The guy was spot on,” he said of one of the top three contenders, who wore a Kelce-like sweater. The Big Lebowski– inspired sweater. Actually on Monday Kelce changed X’s profile picture on a photo of an individual.
Reaction to footage of the eventual winner Paul Crossleywho was wearing a maroon sweater said, “It’s good. I think the sweater was more accurate.”
“I have a confession to make. That’s actually me, guys,” he joked of his preferred winner. “I came into my own equivalent (competition) and I lost. He came in second.”
As flattering as it may be to have your own lookalike competition – Timothée Chalamet crashed his — it was a bit of a wake-up call for Kelce.

“Do you know how depressing it is to know that there is nothing special about you at all?” he joked. “Thousands of people look like you.”
Kelce further revealed that he also has a celebrity doppelganger.
“You know how often I’ve been compared. Zach Galifianakis?” he told his co-hosts. “I love Zach.” He’s a little over 6 feet. Nothing is remotely the same with us. Our hair isn’t even the same.”
