“A month ago I was approached by a client for a cremation tattoo,” a tattoo artist Tay Nicole Clinch shared via Instagram on Wednesday, January 15. “I never did and I was transparent about it, but she still chose to stay with me. Shortly after that she let me in on her story and it’s safe to say I was quite emotional when I realized it was a story I already knew and had been brought to tears in the past.’

Johnny and his brother Matthew Gaudreauthey were struck and killed by a drunk driver while riding a bicycle in Oldmans Township, New Jersey on August 29, 2024. Johnny was 31, Matthew was 29.

Clinch continued: “With some factors I wouldn’t have done it, but given the circumstances I made an exception. Safety was a priority. The authorizing physician was consulted to ensure that this decision was made with care and informed guidance.”

Meredith got the ford “Forever” tattooed on the inside of one of her fingers and the names of her two children – a daughter Noah2 and a son Johnny22 months — on the forearm.

“So with his ashes inked, this tattoo became another way to convey his presence with her alongside their children – thank you for entrusting me with something so special and letting me play a small part in your journey to recovery,” Clinch wrote. .

Clinch explained that she waited a month to go public about the tattoos because she “wanted Meredith to spend some private time with them while they’re healing and that they’re healing well without any unusual side effects.”

Meredith expressed her gratitude in the comments section of Clinch’s post, writing, “Obsessed with them. Perfectly done by the best and best girl.’

The tattoo artist hinted that there may be more ink in Meredith’s future, commenting, “So excited for more ideas.”

At the memorial service for Johnny and Matthew in September 2024, Meredith revealed that she is nine weeks pregnant with the couple’s third child.

“We’re actually a family of five,” Meredith said during her eulogy. “I am nine weeks pregnant with our third child. Total surprise but John was beaming again and so excited.

Meredith added: “I was so nervous because it was a complete surprise again. But his reaction was to immediately kiss and hug me even though I was driving the car. After the initial excitement set in, every time he looked at me he said, ‘You’re crazy, you know that? Three children?”
