Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens everyone loved his latest game!
The Chicago Bears may have come up short against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, Dec. 16, but Owens, 29, got one heck of a consolation prize: a sweet kiss from his fellow Olympic gymnast.
Clip shared via ESPN’s social media and SportsCenter from Monday’s game at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis shows Biles, 27, joining her husband on the field for a sweet hug. “I love you,” she is heard telling Owens.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist looked stylish for the game, wearing an all-black ensemble, including thigh-high black boots, a fur coat and a fur hat.
Earlier in the day, Biles also shared clips through her Instagram stories that she shared a cocktail with her before the match Torrie Brownwho is married to the team’s tight end Mercedes Lewis.
Biles and her man — who wed in April 2023 — previously packed on the PDA attended a Bears away game against the San Francisco 49ers on December 8. Before the game, Owens met Biles on the sidelines, where the two wrapped their arms around each other’s waists and embraced.
Olympic gymnast and Bears safety have been dating since 2020, they first met and got together Raya dating app. At the time, Owens had no idea how famous Biles was.
“(I) was on (dating app Raya) for a few days and then she showed up. I’m like, ‘Let’s see who it is,'” Owens revoked during a December 2023 appearance on “The Pivot” podcast. “I’ve never really paid attention to gymnastics, so it got me curious (and I thought), ‘I’ll see what’s going on.’
Owens was playing for the Houston Texans near Biles’ training facility at the time.
Over the summer, Biles became the most recognized US gymnast in Olympic history during the 2024 Paris Olympics when she took home three golds and one silver, bringing her medal total to 11. She entered the Olympics with seven medals and tied Shannon Millerwho competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games.
After winning gold in the women’s vault in August, Biles he did not rule out competing again at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
“Is this my last? Definitely (my last) Yurchenko double pike,” Biles joked at an Aug. 3 press conference. “I mean, I kind of got it right. … The next Olympics is at home (in Los Angeles). So you just never know. But I’m really getting old.”
